Financial professionals, accountants, and other key management personnel need to be aware of the annual obligations and compliance requirements for companies in Hong Kong under the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities (the “Listing Rules”) and the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) (the “Companies Ordinance”).

This workshop provides you with an introduction on the procedures and key issues in complying with annual obligations and filing requirements for companies in Hong Kong, publication of financial results and holding of annual general meeting, reporting and filing requirements for disclosure of interests in accordance with the Securities and Futures Ordinance and disclosure of Notifiable Transactions and Connected Transactions.

Real-life case studies for practical application will be discussed in the workshop.

Learning Objectives:
• Understand the key issues in complying with the annual obligations and other disclosure requirements for companies in Hong Kong
• Recognise how to deal with the reporting and disclosures requirements for interests in shares of the listed corporations and/or those of its associated corporations
• Identify disclosable and notifiable transactions under the Listing Rules
• Discuss the practical tips in completing the works for complying with the respective disclosure, reporting and filing requirements.
