In recent years, there have been increasing concerns about the reasonableness of valuation by regulators. This seminar aims to enhance the understanding of valuation practitioners and internal valuers of the major risks in valuation concerned by regulators and auditors, and to refresh their knowledge about the relevant techniques to justify valuation. The common issues found in valuation will also be discussed.
After joining this workshop, participants will learn:
• Understand the high-risk areas of concern by regulatory watchdogs
• Understand the concerns of auditors in their review of valuation models and reports
• Be able to identify major potential risk areas in valuation projects
• Learn how to assess the reasonableness of valuation results, methods and input parameters
