Over 20,000 province/city/district-level state and local tax bureaus in Mainland China underwent a merger in 2018. After the merger, the two different tax administration and information systems became one. The merger led to reduction of reporting duplication and disputes due to different tax administration standards. Nevertheless, a more efficient system may lead to more comprehensive tax review and audits and hence taxpayers may face new challenges on their tax compliance management.

Given the high demand of the seminar on 21 June, a rerun session will be held on 3 July. In this seminar, the speaker will share with you what the new challenges are and how to cope with these changes. The following topics will be covered in the seminar:

• Changes and new challenges in tax administration as a result of the merger
• Overview on new tax audit regime under the new administration and how to cope with these new changes
• Experience sharing on how to resolve disputes with the tax bureaus effectively and efficiently
