Under the Small House Policy, male indigenous villagers who are descendants of a recognised village may apply to build a small house, either on private agricultural land or on government land. The speaker will discuss the land rights of indigenous inhabitants, and explore the court's stance on villagers cooperating with developers by selling the developer their Ding rights.
